Featured project

Llama Purísima

Polymetallic zinc, lead and silver project (Zn–Pb–Ag ± Mo, Cu) in Áncash, with mineralization exposed at surface over more than a kilometer.

2 000 haof consolidated concessions
1 200–1 500 mof mineralized structure recognized at surface
45–60 mof visible outcrop width
2 800–4 000meters above sea level
Geology

A carbonate system

  • Host rock: limestones of the Jumasha Formation (Upper Cretaceous).
  • Structural control: Andean NW–SE faults and NE–SW cross-faults that channeled the mineralizing fluids.
  • At surface: zinc carbonates (smithsonite) and lead carbonates, with relict galena. In 1 to 2 m test pits the transition to massive galena and sphalerite sulfides appears.
  • Geochemical indicators (molybdenum, manganese, arsenic, bismuth) pointing to an intrusive source at depth.
Location and access

Direct access

  • Conchucos district, Mariscal Luzuriaga province, Áncash department.
  • Paved highway Lima – Pativilca – Huaraz and regional route Huaraz – Carhuaz – Yungay – Yanama – Piscobamba – Llama – Pumpa.
  • The district road crosses the mineralized structure: direct access for drill rigs and heavy transport.
  • Regional airport at Anta (Huaraz), with commercial flights.
  • Dry season from April to November.
Surface results

SGS laboratory assays

Results from the SGS laboratory (Lima) in excavations of up to 2 m depth in highly oxidized zones, per metric ton.

5% – 20%Zinc (Zn)
4% – 20%Lead (Pb)
2.0 – 6.0 oz/tSilver (Ag)

Preliminary information for general purposes. These are surface sampling results and do not constitute mineral resources or reserves under NI 43-101 or JORC. They require confirmation through diamond drilling and technical studies.
